SCEDP was notified this past Spring by Surry Community College that the property now being rented by the partnership would be required for the new Viticulture Center. President Robin Rhyne and Chairman Ted Ashby began searching for space for a new office. Surry County Commissioners graciously offered the former Planning/Inspection space in the basement of the Surry County Government Office Building.
Around September 1, 2008 the Partnership hopes to move into the space in the County Office Building on Hamby Road following some renovations to meet the needs of the office. Our post office address, telephone/fax numbers will remain the same.
A big Thank You to the Surry County Commissioners for making this space available to the Partnership.
