Applications for the Pitch It and Grow It competitions, part of the Surry Summit Small Business Grants, are officially closing on February 6. Whether you’re just getting started with a bold new idea or ready to take your established business to the next level, there’s a pathway designed just for you.


Pitch It: Turning Bold Ideas Into Reality


The Pitch It competition is designed for startups and entrepreneurs who are ready to share innovative business ideas and bring them to life. Participants will have the opportunity to pitch their concepts for a chance to receive grant funding and valuable exposure.


If you’ve been dreaming about launching your own business, now is the time to take that first step.


Grow It: Fueling Business Expansion


The Grow It competition supports existing businesses that have been operating for two or more years and are ready to expand, scale, or improve operations. From new equipment and marketing initiatives to workforce development and facility upgrades, Grow It helps local businesses invest in their next phase of success.


Grant Awards Up to $2,500


Selected participants in both competitions will have the chance to receive grant awards up to $2,500, providing real financial support to help move ideas forward and strengthen Surry County’s small business community.
