Leadership Surry 2026-2027 Applications are now live!
This year's program will allow participants to explore what makes Surry County a special place. They will have the opportunity to learn from key leaders while also learning about the assets and initiatives influencing our community.
Classes are an all-day commitment, starting around 8:30 and finishing up at 4:00. The program will run from August to April, meeting once a month, generally the third or fourth Thursday of the month (the program skips December and January).
Collaboratively run by Surry County Economic Development Partnership and the Surry Community College, participants will receive an academic certificate from SCC upon completing the program. Program costs are $300 and due to SCC from either the participants or their employer.
Applications are due by August 3rd and participants will be notified of application status by August 7th.
