The new facility reflects Scenic’s ongoing dedication to bringing high-quality automotive options to Mount Airy, offering customers access to Subaru’s trusted lineup alongside a fully equipped service center. This expansion not only strengthens Scenic’s presence in the local market but also reinforces its mission of delivering exceptional service, care, and connection across every part of the customer experience.
The Scenic Subaru project represents a significant physical and operational investment, featuring an 11,400-square-foot facility designed to enhance both sales and service capacity. The dealership was constructed by J.G. Coram Company, Inc., a respected local commercial builder and fellow Surry County EDP investor known for high-quality design-build projects. The expanded footprint provides increased room for vehicle inventory, customer amenities, and advanced service operations—significantly elevating Scenic’s capabilities across all automotive functions. With the Subaru expansion completed, the company is well-positioned to increase efficiency, attract new customer segments, and continue elevating its impact on economic growth and workforce development within Surry County.

Furthermore, Scenic supports local education by being a sponsor of multiple initiatives including the Surry County First LEGO League and working directly with local schools. Each year Scenic selects a local school to sponsor, this includes a front of the year donation directly to the classroom teachers and an ongoing every other month project with the school throughout the year. This year they donated $500 worth of classroom supplies to each teacher at Shoals Elementary which goes a long ways towards making the classrooms better equipped for optimal learning as well as stocked the teachers lounge with supplies and snacks to provide a morale booster. Scenic recently helped sponsor a raffle to give away a Bronco for a Millennium Charter Academy fundraiser. In addition to the schools, they also proudly sponsor local little leagues, middle schools, and high school sports teams ensuring that kids are able to make connections, learn skills and discipline, and remain active in their daily lives.
