The initiative provides two distinct pathways for business owners: Pitch It, designed for early-stage entrepreneurs developing new ideas, and Grow It, focused on helping established businesses scale and strengthen operations. Through funding, education, and hands-on support, the program empowers participants to turn vision into action while building long-term capacity within Surry County’s small business ecosystem. 

Through this investment, Duke Energy Foundation is not only supporting individual business growth, it is helping cultivate a stronger pipeline of local innovation, job creation, and economic resilience.
